Mr. Aigboje Higo is a Non-Executive Director and a seasoned investment banker, stockbroker, and pension fund manager with over 34 years of expertise in the financial services sector. He has built a distinguished career in investment management and capital markets, culminating in his role as Group Managing Director of Capital Bancorp Plc. He held this position for 14 years until his retirement in 2023, during which he successfully transitioned the organization into a group structure.

Prior to joining Capital Bancorp, Mr. Higo held several key leadership roles. From 2005 to 2009, he served as the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Pensions Alliance Limited (PAL), a subsidiary of FSDH. Concurrently, from 2003 to 2009, he was a Director at FSDH Asset Management Limited, where he also took on CEO responsibilities. Before these roles, he served as the Chief Operating Officer at FSDH Securities Limited from 1995 to 2005. Earlier in his career, he worked as a Financial Analyst at Prudent Stockbrokers Ltd. from 1987 to 1990, before stepping into the role of Manager of Corporate Finance at Prudent Merchant Bank Plc in 1990.

Academically, Mr. Higo holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in International Business from Howard University, Washington D.C. (1984), and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from American University, Washington D.C. (1985). Professionally, he is an Authorized Dealing Clerk of The Nigerian Stock Exchange, having qualified in 1988, and became an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers in 1993.
