Mr. Olutola Mobolurin is a distinguished finance executive, Founder, and Chairman with over 40 years of experience in the financial services sector, bringing decades of leadership expertise in investment banking and capital markets. He is the Founder and pioneer Managing Director of Capital Bancorp Plc, a firm he established in 1988 and led until 2009. Prior to founding Capital Bancorp, he worked at Continental Merchant Bank Limited (formerly Chase Merchant Bank) from 1979 to 1988, eventually resigning as Deputy General Manager.

Throughout his career, Mr. Mobolurin has sat on the boards of several blue-chip companies. He has served as Chairman of First City Monument Bank (FCMB) Plc, Chairman of NASD Limited (an OTC Trading Platform), and Chairman of Crusader-Sterling Pensions Limited. He also previously held the dual role of Vice Chairman and Managing Director at Crusader Nigeria Plc.

In addition to his corporate leadership, he has held numerous key industry roles. He served as the President and Chairman of the Council of the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers (CIS) from 2001 to 2003 and was a Council Member of the Nigerian Stock Exchange (NSE). At the regulatory level, he served as Chairman of the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) Committee on the Reactivation of the Bond Debt investments in which an investor loans money to an entity (corporate or governmental) that borrows the funds for a defined period of time at a fixed interest rate. Bonds are used by companies, states and federal governments to finance a variety of projects and activities. Bonds are commonly referred to as fixed-income securities and are one of the three main asset classes, along with stocks and cash/cash equivalents. The indebted entity (issuer) issues a bond that states the interest rate (coupon) that will be paid and when the loaned funds (principal) are to be returned (maturity date). Interest is usually paid every six months (semi-annually) and in some cases, annually. The main categories of bonds are corporate bonds, federal bonds and state bonds, notes and bills, commonly referred to as “Treasuries”. Two features of a bond—credit quality and duration—are the principal determinants of a bond’s interest rate. Bond maturities range from a 90-day treasury bill (T-bill) to a 30+ year government bond; corporate and states are typically in the three (3) to 10-year range. Market in Nigeria in 2000, and as an Assessor and Part-time Member of the Investment and Securities Tribunal in 2002.

Academically, Mr. Mobolurin holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Finance from the State University of New York, Binghamton (1975), and a Master of Business Administration from York University, Toronto (1977). Professionally, he became an Authorized Dealing Clerk of The Nigerian Stock Exchange in 1978 and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers.

Mr. Olabode Joseph was appointed Head, Trade Finance and Credit Administration at Bancorp Finance Limited in 2017. Prior to his appointment, he served as a Credit Relationship Manager with the firm. He commenced his career with the Group in November 2008 as a Credit Officer in Corporate Finance.

Before joining Capital Bancorp, he worked in Accounts and Finance at Zoom Mobile Limited from 2004 to 2008.
Olabode is a graduate of the University of Ilorin, where he obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Statistics in 2001.

He is a Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) sponsored individual and a member of several professional bodies, including Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (FCA), Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers (FCS), and an individual member of the Equipment Leasing Association of Nigeria (ELAN).

Olabode is happily married with children.

Olapo Oladeji Kolawole is the Chief Financial Officer of Capital Bancorp Plc, where he oversees the Finance and Treasury functions of the Group. He is responsible for financial reporting, treasury management, tax management, regulatory compliance, and financial strategy execution across the organisation.

He is a seasoned finance professional with over a decade of experience spanning finance, internal control, taxation, treasury management, and business advisory services.

Prior to joining Capital Bancorp Plc, he worked with Elixir Investment Partners Limited as Financial Reporting and Taxation Accountant, where he was involved in financial reporting, tax administration, and finance operations.

He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting as well as a Master of Business Administration (Finance) from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife, Osun State.

He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (FCA), a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Stockbrokers (FCS), and an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Taxation of Nigeria (ACTI). He is also an Authorised Dealing Clerk of both the Nigerian Exchange Limited and NASD, and is duly registered by the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Izuchukwu Nwaeze was appointed Chief Compliance Officer of Capital Bancorp Plc in May 2023. Prior to this appointment, he served as Chief Compliance and Legal Officer at Sky Capital and Financial Allied International Limited. He also previously held multiple roles at Mega Capital Group, including Customer Service Manager, Chief Compliance Officer, and Legal Officer.

Izuchukwu brings extensive industry experience to the Executive Management of Capital Bancorp Plc. He commenced his career in the capital market in 2006 with Mega Equities Limited, a subsidiary of Mega Capital Group, in Operations, and later progressed through roles including Customer Service Executive in 2014, Compliance Officer in 2018, and Compliance and Legal Officer in 2020.

He is an alumnus of Lead City University and the Nigerian Law School, Abuja Campus. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Public Administration and a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B), and he is qualified as a Barrister at Law (BL). He is a registered Compliance Officer with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), a Certified Data Protection Officer (DPO), and an Accredited Practitioner with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC).

He is a member of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) and the Committee of Chief Compliance Officers of Capital Market Operators in Nigeria (CCCOCIN).

Opeyemi Olayinka was appointed Head, Internal Audit and Control at Capital Bancorp Plc in September 2023.

He brings nearly a decade of experience in core areas of audit, assurance, and finance, primarily within the financial services sector. In his current role, he leads and oversees the Internal Audit and Internal Control functions across Capital Bancorp Plc and its subsidiaries, implementing risk-based audit plans aligned with organizational objectives.

He commenced his professional career with Nahman Construction Co. Ltd in January 2018, where he served as a Finance and Control Officer. Prior to joining Capital Bancorp Plc in 2023, he held multiple roles at CrusaderSterling Pensions Limited, including Internal Audit and Control Officer, Finance Officer, and ultimately Internal Audit Lead.

Opeyemi holds a Bachelor of Science (Hons) degree in Accounting from the University of Lagos and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance and Investment from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria.

He is a member of various professional bodies and an Associate Chartered Accountant (ACA) of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria. He is also a Designate Compliance Professional of the Compliance Institute of Nigeria and a Certified Financial Modelling and Valuation Analyst A financial professional who has expertise in evaluating investments and puts together “buy”, “sell” or “hold” recommendations for securities. They may be also known as a “financial analyst” or a “security analyst”. Analysts are typically employed by broking firms, investment advisors or mutual funds. They do the leg work for brokers, preparing the research they use for trading. Analysts usually specialize in specific industries or sectors to allow for comprehensive and specialized research capacity (FMVA) accredited by the Corporate Finance Institute.

Outside work, Opeyemi enjoys music and exploring emerging ideas in technology.

Olasode Ifedolapo Enitilo is currently the Head of Information Technology at Capital Bancorp Plc, where he leads the development and execution of IT strategy across the group and its subsidiaries. He oversees IT infrastructure planning, network and data centre administration, cybersecurity, vendor management, and compliance with national and international regulatory frameworks.

He previously served as IT Manager at DLM Capital Group, where he strengthened his expertise in infrastructure and cybersecurity. Prior to that, he worked as Information Resource Generalist at Whyte Cleon Limited and as Acting Head of Information Technology at Insourcing Limited, progressively building experience in IT governance, operations, and strategic technology management.

Olasode brings over a decade of experience delivering enterprise-scale technology solutions across financial services, consulting, and capital markets. His expertise includes hardware and software deployment, networking, data centre operations, cybersecurity, project management, and enterprise application rollouts, supported by strong analytical and execution capabilities.

He is known for his hands-on leadership style and his ability to align technology with business objectives, driving digital transformation, strengthening operational security, and optimizing IT systems across organizations. His work supports Capital Bancorp Plc and its subsidiaries in remaining agile, secure, and resilient in a rapidly evolving digital environment.

He holds a degree in Computer Engineering Technology, providing a strong foundation for his technical and strategic capabilities in IT leadership. He also maintains continuous professional development to stay current with evolving technology landscapes.

He is certified in several professional areas, including Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), Certified Data Protection Officer (NDPR/GDPR Compliance), Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), ITIL Professional, and Associate Certified Chief Information Security Officer (CCISO), combining technical depth with governance expertise.

Olasode is passionate about innovation, resilience, and knowledge sharing, with a focus on leveraging technology as a driver of business growth and transformation in the financial sector.

Momah Obianuju was appointed Group Head, HR/Admin at Capital Bancorp Plc in April 2021. Prior to this appointment, she served as Senior Human Resources Manager at Genesis Cinemas. She was also previously Head, HR and Administration at Petrodata Management Services Limited, where she worked from December 2015 to January 2021.

Obianuju brings over a decade of experience across human resources and administration roles spanning banking, oil and gas, entertainment and hospitality, and the capital market. She commenced her career at Aso Savings & Loans Plc in 2011 as a Team Lead, Customer Service Officer.

She is an alumna of Lagos Business School, where she obtained her MBA in 2014, and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Lead City University, Ibadan, awarded in 2009.

She is a Full Member of the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria (CIPM), a Senior Professional in Human Resources International (SPHRi), and a Member of the Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria (CIBN).
